DROP MONEY is one of the Global Service Provider of German Blocked Accounts, authorized by The Federal Foreign Office of The Republic of Germany. Blocked account (Sperrkonto) is a German visa requirement for internationals coming from outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA). The blocked account serves to prove that the applicants have adequate financial resources to live in Germany during their stay.

DROP MONEY Blocked Account is a fully automated process and after successful registration, Blocked Account confirmations are sent immediately and followed by KYC process and payment instructions, usually within 48 hours our customers receive KYC Verification status and payment instructions.

Yes, from the very first day of our service, we are providing dedicated IBAN to all our Blocked Account customers, till now we used to provide French IBAN with partnership with our partner bank BNP Paribas France, now we have changed to Dedicated German IBAN with our new partnership with BNP Paribas Deutschland. So, all our new customers from 25th September onwards will get Dedicated German IBAN for their Blocked Account. For our current customers with French IBAN, their will be no change in service and they will get the same service they are getting till now.

Send us an email to close the account along with Embassy/Consulate letter stating Visa rejection or permission to close the Account.

There is not additional fee for cancellation. If your visa is rejected, we will refund the amount you have deposited for Blocked Account and monthly fees, bank transaction charges will be applied. Blocked Account setup fee is not refunded.

Once you get the Visa, please update the details in your personal dashboard. Post arrival in Germany, please update the Flight Boarding pass copy, Immigration entry stamp on your Passport, and your European/ German Current Account details (if you have not opened a current account yet, you can open a current account with our partner Revolut by visiting the partner page in our website), once these documents are submitted and verified, your Blocked Account will be activated and you will start receiving pay-outs on the 5th day of every month from thereafter.

DROP MONEY Blocked Accounts can be renewed for € 60 every consecutive year. Monthly fees will be applied.

You can open a current account in any German local bank or you can open the current account with our exclusive partner Revolut for free, just visit the Partner page in our website and open the Revolut page and click on the link available in that page to open a Free Revolut Current Account.

Yes. German consulates and authorities will and shall check the authenticity and funds details online.

We provide Public Health Insurance through our partners BARMER or TK, and Private Health Insurance through our partner Mawista-Allianz.

DROP MONEY Blocked Account provide Travel Insurance free with all of its Block Accounts, Blue, Gold or Platinum, if you are Traveling from outside European Union.

You do not need to pay for your health insurance now when you register for Blocked Account, once you arrive in Germany and activate your Blocked Account from then onwards you will start paying for your health insurance.
